For the FIRST time in four years, The Ivy Buckhead is bringing you the first ever full feature concert event lead by the Futurebirds w/ Funk you. We will have full light, sound, and stage upstairs on our expansive open air patio. You will not want to miss this! 

We have also teamed up with UBER to provide a special rate to those coming to the show.

The Bands

Futurebirds: coming in hot from Athens, Georgia, the Futurebirds are… you all know who they are. 

Covered in kudzu and swathed in a blanket of humidity, spanish moss, feedback and reverb exists Futurebirds. Here, at this intersection, we find a synthesis of the two extremes of Neil Young’s yin and yang. It’s at this crossroads, on this plane that Futurebirds meld the sweet, lilting, pedal steel and harmonies of the Stray Gators with the raucous, buzzing, distortion of Crazyhorse - Aquarium Drunkard

Futurebirds continues to build its fan base by touring relentlessly, sharing bills with the likes of Drive-By Truckers, Widespread Panic, Band of Horses, Heartless Bastards and Alabama Shakes and performing at such prestigious festivals as Austin City Limits, Outside Lands, Hangout, Wakarusa, Forecastle and Bonnaroo. Futurebirds was also featured on 2011's Bonnaroo Buzz tour, playing between Gary Clark Jr. and headliner Grace Potter & The Nocturnals.

FUNK YOU: Hailing from the east side GA town of Augusta, FUNK YOU is an outgoing burst of energy that is continually climbing their way to the top of the music scene. This "funk" oriented outfit projects multiple musical styles focusing mainly on dance driven grooves with powerful clean vocals. Incorporating intriguing musical composition, tasteful lyrics, and crowd captivating live performances, FUNK YOU is surely to make an imprint on your musical taste.

FUNK YOU also just won a spot at WAKARUSA and is a Top 10 to see at this Festival. They have shared the stage of late with artists such as Robert Randolph, Umphreys Mcgee, and Dirty Dozen Brass Band to name a few.
